WHO IS BBUFA?

BBUFA is a registered charity established in 1993 as a local group to support childcare providers. Our members include playgroups, day nurseries, parent & toddler groups and child minders. We are funded by membership subscriptions and grants, and have service level agreements with Early Years and Childcare Services and Sure Start.

Since 1993 we have grown substantially and now employ a group of staff including development workers, crèche workers and admin staff.  We support around 50 establishments in the area offering assistance with training, equipment loan, general information, liaising with external organisations, staff and committee issues, policy documents, Ofsted inspections, funding and general day to day operations.

BBUFA’s AIMS

Becoming a member of BBUFA gives you access to a wealth of experience and information to assist you with providing the best service and understanding possible to the children attending your group. Yearly membership for playgroups, pre-schools and nurseries is £60 and £15 for associate and individual members, which gives you access to all our services and regular newsletters.
